Unless you are particularly sensitive to sound..... This is stoopid. And you'd have to be REEEEEEEALY abnormally sensitive to sound if a mous bothers u
Kids shouldn't be entertained passively with video games and phones in long car trips... Not for long anyway. Look it up. Lazy parenting. Thumbs down = u are one of them
@barryk, that is not very nice to say, especially if you don't have kids. Also, "look it up"? I can't imagine what parents did before they could "look it up."
That totally makes no sense... 1) I have kids... They weren't allowed to have SMART phones before 9th GRADE. 2) before the "look it up" age, this wasnt a problem.... Parent didn't have smart devices to rely on babysitting their kids while idnoring them. Seems like parents weren't quite so lazy in the past as they are now. Resist the urge to let electronics and the internet to do a parents job. It's proven that young developing brains are negatively impacted by passive smart device activities. Don't take it from someone with PhDs in stuff like this (and other things) LOOK IT UP.
Here's an idea... Go to the library and get some audio books on CD, create some MP3s and listen to those together as a family on long car trips... Better yet, if there are multiple readers in the car, take turns reading in silly voices for diff characters. Magic Tree house, Harry Potter, The Twits, Lemony Snicket.... The list goes on. My older son (17) still like us to read together in the car on long trips

@barryk, the mouse is actually pretty sweet for the price point. I have used $30 mice (well played, @suednim) that aren't half as good.
