Only way to solve for wet food would likely involve refrigeration, or a very complex and expensive can opening function or vacuum sealed food pack option.... Maybe Someone can shark tank that idea. As far as dry food is concerned, you have to be careful that your pet doesn't learn to open the food bin or knock it over. We have an auto dispenser that I mounted on a platform on the wall in my laundry room. There is a 2 inch PVC pipe and funnel under the platform to catch and route the dispensed food down to a bowl where kitty gets his food on a schedule and not when he bangs the unit with his paw.
