Judging from some of the reviews, there may be an issue with longevity on this thing. We've tried a similar, somewhat cheaper fountain for our cat ("Catit Flower Cat Water Fountain" from
Amazon
, $27.99), and she's been using it religiously ever since. It has cheap replaceable filters, works reliably, and (we believe) causes the cat to drink more water, which we understand makes for a healthier cat.
