Not a bad deal! This has a nice screen resolution and and a backlit keyboard which are usually only on more expensive models. Not a touchscreen but I don't really think that's much of a downside for this model.

I3 is fine for basic computing. What do you expect for 350 and 4gb of ram?

    Good res screen: Check
SSD (a little small, but can be upgraded): Check
    Ram (Can be upgraded): Check

i3 Proc: Just too slow to live with these days.

The problem with basic computing like browsing these days is the browsers are using too much ram and processing power.  i3's just don't cut it anymore.

    Disagree.
IE edge runs great on an I3 and 4gb of ram.

4gb of ram is the only downside here. Excellent price for an entry level machine that won't feel slow for years.
