7 reviews out of 31 is not a large enough sample to draw a conclusion IMO. I always take reviews with a grain of salt, especially with lower priced components which attract inexperienced builders.
I have this RAM in a rew Ryzen 7 1700X build, and it works fine.
I've had old RAM sticks go bad, but never once had a brand new stick be DOA.
Being just PC4 24000Mhz it's entry spec stuff, might say $85 is still high price for this more $70 feels where this stuff is going to. I still think memory is still overpriced a decent a kit like Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16 should be a $90.
