This is a great game with TONS of replay value, even if this one is not free, well worth the $29 from If you have OCD like me, this is easily a 100+ hour game.
FYI, you have to get this game via the weblink and not the console. If you try the console, it will show up as $29.99. Great game but it's a time killer.
Wonderful deal, but not too thrilled that they added paid mods to it when they use to be free in this game, and the prices for some of the mods are pretty ridiculous, $4 for a simple weapon. Liked it much better when the mods were free in game.
heads up for those that don't know you will not own this game it is like a FREE rental
Very weird - if you search the MS Store, this comes up as "Fallout 4 - Free to Play", and the page for it says it includes "Fallout 4", which has $29.99 under the name.
After going through the purchasing process for the $0.00 "Free to Play" version and pushing it to my Xbox, going onto the $29.99 regular version's page shows the option to download to my Xbox, but right next to it has a "Buy to Own" option that I've never seen before, where the "Buy" option would be for unowned games, and a space which is normally empty for games you own (Where the only options are "Install on Xbox One" and "Buy as Gift").
Not entirely sure what this means... It isn't listed as a "Games with Gold" or free-to-play-for-the weekend type thing, but it is also clearly categorized differently from regular or GwG purchases, meaning... Something?
I rarely use my Xbox, but maybe someone here who does has more of a clue than I do as to what the deal is here.

There's still free mods - and afaik it's the first bethesda game to support modding on consoles.
Way more free community mods than paid ones, and a lot of them are extremely well done.
I am almost positive this is a "free-to-play" trial or limited access; it does not make sense to have a free-to-play AND a buy option for the same game.

you will not own this game – this offer is like a FREE rental.
Well that is a bit of a letdown. :/
Yeah, misleading post.
Thank you!
