This might be the best flat panel deal in this size area this season. My experience with a smaller Seiki set was pretty good - trouble free with a really good picture for the price. 4K is definitely going to be the future, and these handle a 1080P signal just fine. If I hadn't already spent too much today, I'd jump on this!

Won't fade because 4K has obvious benefits over 1080p for computer monitor use. Even when there is 4K media content, computer users will be happy to go even higher than 4K.
This is actually a great 4K TV. It works great as a monitor. I was able to watch Battle of the Five Armies in 3840 x 2160 with an upscaling Samsung Bluray player. Other than that, I went on to YouTube and streamed some 4K video clips on there and it was amazing. It'll be awhile before we get any real 4K contents movie-wise. Great price on here too...got mine when it was $350.

If you just want a hi res computer monitor, go for it, but if you want to watch 4k stuff, run away.
