The non-stick coating on my Farberware pots has begun to peel off in big flakes. Granted I've had the pots for several years, but they are more of a backup and rarely used. "Don't expect Calphalon quality at this price." is a true statement. Even at $35, I'd say this is no bargain. Best to skip the cheap utensils that come in this set and just buy the pots you need of a higher quality brand for around $35.
I got a cheap Farberware set similar to this off a deal on Ben's for ~ $20 around a decade ago. The metal is a little thin and I didn't think the non-stick coating would hold up but it has held up great. It was slightly different though with metal skillet handles and silicone insulated metal pot handles stainless-riveted on.
The main thing is don't use metal utensils and don't get it super hot (stay below 400F) which mainly means don't cook on high without a fair amount of oil or (food based) water in it, which shouldn't be done with any non-stick cookware so you don't get a shellac like carbonized oil buildup which food sticks to, as well as being carcinogenic.
