The E310DW browns out my 1340VA UPS on startup to print., so I have to connect it directly to power. Other than that I am glad I only paid 40$ for it.

^ That's true of pretty much all laser printers, especially larger ones which is why people generally don't connect laser printers to the battery backup outlets on an UPS.
