I do not recommend using Dell Financial Services. I used them once and they were very hard to deal with. It's better to just pay cash.

Just because its ordered via that site, you do not have to finance it- you can still purchase outright for the discounted price, so I'm not entirely sure what you're referring to.

I've bought 15-20 laptops from DFS. Never a problem. Great way to get business class machines at good prices.

very very solid deals. have ordered several from dell, and for full laptops (not chromebooks) it's hard to get a better deal than this.

I used to buy a Dell PC/laptop every 2 years, until 2009, when I bought one using DFS. The laptop started to have problems 3 months after purchase. They delayed repairs as much as they could. Had to be sent for warranty service 3 times. The last time, a month before warranty expired. Eventually, I had to send it a 4th time, after warranty expired. It was very difficult to deal with these guys. Stopped buying from Dell.

Wish I saw this before purchasing a Toshiba for my wife earlier today. Though after the Dell I had in college I'm hesitant on their reliability.
