The website contains a list of "some" participating retailers, as OP noted. Where would one go to find a list of "all" participating retailers? For me, my "go to" place for the 5Q jug of M1 has always been
Walmart
, as their price even beats COSTCO.
Walmart
is not on the "some" list though. Perhaps they're on the "all" list?

Meh...

Walmart
is usually the cheapest @ $24 for a 5 qt jug but they're not listed as participating.

Is
Amazon
the next lowest priced option? They have the 5qt Extended Performance 5W-20 &0W-20 for $29 but the rest (both 5qt jugs and 5 x 1qt jugs) are priced so much higher than
Walmart
that the rebate won't bring them down to a competitive price level.

Well...I just called the "help" number (1-866-895-9127) at the bottom of the website, and was greeted almost immediately by a very friendly and helpful lady on the other end of the line. I explained that I did not see
Walmart
on their "some" retailer list, and she immediately replied that they were in fact a "participating" retailer. (I believe that was the term she used....) In any case, she confirmed that the offer would in fact be honored for those who purchase their oil at
Walmart
, SO LONG AS we take care to ensure that the receipt actually identifies the oil as a Mobil product.

At
Walmart
's price minus the rebate, and considering that you can submit two rebate apps, this is a no-brainer.

The list shows "some" if you buy it from Wal-Mart, they will honor the rebate. I got my $24 (two $12 checks) for two jugs couple of months ago and I bought it from Wal-Mart.com

Good luck to all. Rebates are definitely not a guarantee and will require more effort than the $12 you will receive. I will never participate in rebate deals anymore due to taking over 16 months to receive a $75 dollar rebate from a recalled Maytag dishwasher replacement. Spent every bit of 20-30 hours over the course of the 16 months following up and trying to track the rebate. Not worth it.

You can submit two rebates on one form. Last time around, I paid $26.68 at
Walmart
and got $12 back for each 5 quart jug.

I have purchased two 5-quart jugs of Mobil 1 from Wal*Mart twice a year for the past two years under similar promotions and gotten back my $24 rebate every time without issue.

I bought the 5 quart jug in the past from
Walmart
and received the rebate when they were not listed as a participating retailer. Bought another jug last week.

I bought my Mobil 1 at
WalMart
, submitted the rebate request two weeks ago, and the rebate has already arrived, so, it worked for me.
